SecOVID 4.4

SecOVID presents a sophisticated one-time password solution developed in Germany, comprising both a client and a server component, namely the Smart Security Management Server. This system facilitates secure authentication through the LDAPs protocol.

On the client side, KOBIL provides a hardware SecOVID token that generates a valid, one-time, 8-digit password with the simple press of a button. Alternatively, users have the option to utilize a PIN-protected soft token application that also produces an 8-digit one-time password, thereby enhancing security for weaker passwords.

This system offers exceptional protection against unauthorized access attempts, serving as an effective entry-level solution for secure application access globally. SecOVID is designed for seamless integration wherever an LDAP connection is available, supporting platforms such as Citrix, Cisco, Microsoft, and SAP.
